In the afternoon city tour of New Delhi visiting Humayuns Tomb : built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar, drive past India Gate, President House, Connaught Place. With this the city tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir). Overnight stay back at hotel. |

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra (203 kms/ 04 Hrs) After having breakfast, drive to Agra. Upon arrival check-in to Hotel. In the afternoon city tour of Agra visiting Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It has the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was contracted by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. In the evening visit Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) by sunset, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight stay back at hotel. Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (236 Kms, 05hrs) Morning after having breakfast drive to Jaipur - The Pink City , The contractor inability to supply any other color in the required quantity compelled the choice of pink shade for its walls. Here a contractor's compulsion famed Jaipur to Pinkcity. Since then the PINK color is associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. Rest of time free at leisure. Overnight stay back at hotel |
