Afternoon city tour of New Delhi visiting Humayuns Tomb : built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar, drive past India Gate, President House, Connaught Place. The city tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir). Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (260 Kms/06 Hrs) Morning after having breakfast drive to Jaipur - The Pink City , The contractor inability to supply any other color in the required quantity compelled the choice of pink shade for its walls. A contractor's compulsion famed Jaipur to Pink city. Since then the pink color is associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. Rest of time free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel Day 04 : Jaipur After having breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Amber Fort : At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur visiting the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay at hotel Day 05 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (236 kms/ 05 Hrs) After breakfast, drive to Agra via Fatehpur sikri. Upon arrival check-in to Hotel. Rest of time free at leisure. Morning after having breakfast drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to the railway station to connect train for Haridwar. Upon arrival drive to Ashram at Rishikesh. Rishikesh the holy city of India, the hatha yoga capital of the world, a totally vegetarian town. Arrive at Ashram, resting serenely on the banks of the holy Ganga, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Rest of the day accumulate the Ashram life. Overnight stay at Ashram. Day 08 : Rishikesh Morning and Evening Yoga Classes with one of well recognize personality. Overnight stay at Ashram.
